My Story -

I am a self-taught abstract artist with a lifelong passion for the botanical world. My practice is an exploration of abstract form, colour, and pattern, driven by an enduring fascination with the beauty and energy found in nature. Working predominantly with acrylic paints and inks on a large scale, I create vibrant compositions that bring together organic motifs, expressive marks, and dynamic layers of colour—a celebration of the vivid, the joyful, and the natural.

My artistic journey has been deeply shaped by my long career in the fashion industry, where I developed a strong appreciation for design, texture, colour, and visual composition. This experience continues to influence my work, bringing a sense of rhythm, movement, and considered playfulness to my paintings.

Born and raised among the lush landscapes of New Zealand’s tropical islands, I spent my formative years surfing and immersed in an environment rich with colour, texture, and abundant plant life. That early connection to the natural world remains at the heart of my practice. It continues to inspire the organic shapes, layered patterns, and vibrant palettes within my work, grounding my abstract compositions in a deep appreciation for the beauty and vitality of nature.
