My Story -
Based in Sydney, I am a self-taught abstract artist with a deep-rooted passion for all things botanical. My creative practice is an exploration of abstract forms, driven by an insatiable love for colour and pattern. Working predominantly with acrylic paints and inks on a large scale, my art is a vibrant synthesis of natural motifs and dynamic hues, a celebration of the vivid and the organic.
My journey into the world of art is heavily influenced by my long career in the fashion industry, where I cultivated an appreciation for design, texture, and the interplay of colours. This background has undeniably shaped my approach, infusing my works with a sense of rhythm and joy.
Born and raised amidst the lush landscapes of New Zealand’s tropical islands, I spent my formative years surfing and absorbing the rich, verdant surroundings. This early connection to nature remains a vital source of inspiration, grounding my abstract compositions in a deep respect for the natural world.
Now residing on the Northern Beaches with my partner and four children, I find constant inspiration in the sunlit vistas and the ever-changing hues of the coastal environment. My art continues to evolve, reflecting my ongoing fascination with colour and form, and my enduring hope to capture the essence of joy in every piece.
